Minecraft is a very popular online sandbox style building game. Minecraft allows players to build, explore, and interact with others in a Minecraft world. Minecraft worlds are composed of cubes of different materials from stone to diamond ore. Along with living in the Minecraft Minecraft world, you can use Minecraft blocks to build anything that you want.
History of Minecraft Releases
Minecraft was first launched by Mojang on May 17, 2009 as Minecraft Classic . It had no crafting system yet; it only had the ability to punch blocks. On December 20th 2009, Minecraft Alpha saw an addition of craftable items added into the game including tools and weapons. This version of Minecraft can still be played today via browser or downloaded for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux platforms here .
On September 15th, Minecraft Beta was released and it added more features such as a wider range of blocks, new items, the addition of Creative Mode and more crafting recipes; Minecraft beta is no longer available to play. Minecraft 1.0 Minecraft was released on November 18th 2011 .
If you would like to play Minecraft Classic or Minecraft Alpha, do not go download Minecraft 1.1 because it will erase your Minecraft files from these versions! On December 20th 2011 , Minecraft 1.1 was released which contained many bugs that made gameplay difficult for players who used Minecraft 1.1 on Minecraft Realms, where it has been discontinued from Minecraft Realms until Minecraft Beta is updated to Minecraft 1.2 . Minecraft 1.2 was released on September 12th 2012 and brought more changes such as a change in world generation which allowed for the addition of villages and biomes such as jungles, swamps, deserts and mesas.
Minecraft 1.3 was released on May 28th 2013, adding many new features to Minecraft including pistons that can push or pull blocks, redstone wire, monster spawners and a new hostile mob known as the Wither . On December 19th 2013, Minecraft 1. (Valium online) 4 was released which added stained glass panes, stained clay bricks and 5 new variants of stone brick textures.
Minecraft 1.5 was released on September 18th 2014 and adds new features such as a resource pack system, ocean monuments , guardians and their spawn eggs, polar bears , jungle temples, rabbit stew and many other things. Minecraft 1.7 was released on September 2nd 2015, introducing fireworks, enchanting tables, glistering melons/gourds/pumpkins/melons, stained glass , slabs for all existing blocks in Minecraft up to this point in time except for beds and leaves, a recipe book of sorts called the “Book Of Faces” which Minecraft players can use to show their friends what Minecraft skin they are currently using, and the addition of Minecraft Realms for Pocket Edition.
Minecraft 1.8 was released on July 18th 2016, introducing the Minecraft Marketplace where you can buy community-created Minecraft content with Minecraft Coins purchased through either your Xbox or Playstation network. There are also two new game modes added into Minecraft called Battle Mode and Tumble mode .
Minecraft 1.9 was released on December 19th, 2016 adding cross platform compatibility between devices running Minecraft including Windows 10, iOS, Android, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and VR devices along with many other changes such as a new launcher that allows newer versions to be downloaded (including betas), shulker boxes which act like chests but are immune to explosions, allow players to store their items inside them even when they are open, Minecraft Realms for Minecraft Bedrock Edition , the addition of Minecraft commands, new music tracks and sounds in Minecraft Classic, new mobs including llamas that have a baby variant called an alpaca.
Minecraft 1.10 was released on June 7th 2017 adding many features such as barriers which act like fences but are only allowed to be placed in certain positions (so no more accidentally placing your fence sideways), boats can now have passengers, polar bears are added into Minecraft along with their spawn eggs, witches can now spawn upon killing a witch villager or throwing a splash potion of poison at them, biome colour is added back into Minecraft world generation for existing biomes, Minecraft Realms for Minecraft Java Edition is now available to all players in Minecraft Java Edition, the addition of Minecraft commands, new music tracks and sounds in Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
The latest version of Minecraft is 1.17.1 so there are a lot of versions to go over.

How to play older versions of Minecraft
Launch Minecraft on your computer. Log in as usual.
You will be prompted and welcomed on this screen.
Click ‘Let’s Go’ and you will be redirected to this screen.
On this screen, click on Installations.
You will be redirected to the Installations screen, click on New Installations.
On the New Installations screen, you will see the following options – Name, Drop Down list of the servers, and the Game Directory.
If you already know the older version of Minecraft that you want to use, you can fill up the details and choose among the drop-down menu.
Once you get all of the details done and settled, click on the Create button.
Once you click on Create, the old Minecraft version will come out of the main prompt.
